Garret Fitzgerald is the Chief Technology Officer of Invision Capital, overseeing technology strategy for the firm and its portfolio companies. Garret joined Invision in 2025 and drives value creation through IT modernization, cybersecurity, cloud transformation, data analytics, and AI.

 

Prior to joining Invision Capital, Garret founded Uprising Solutions, a technology advisory firm specializing in digital transformation and M&A for middle-market industrial and services companies. He also recently served as Chief Digital Officer at LSC Communications, helping drive its return to profitability and successful sale through a major technology transformation.

 

Garret began his career at GE and transitioned to Wabtec following its acquisition of GE Transportation. At Wabtec, he was Group Vice President & COO of Digital Solutions, a $1B+ Software and Electronics division, leading development and go-to-market of AI-powered software and industrial IoT solutions for the rail industry. During his tenure at GE—including time on the Corporate Audit Staff—he led large-scale cybersecurity programs, ERP consolidations, cloud migrations, and AI-driven analytics across Aerospace, Healthcare, Shared Services, and Power businesses, delivering major cost savings and operational efficiencies.

 

Garret holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSBA from Bucknell University.
