Our Team

Robert Castillo is the founder and Managing Director of Invision Capital and brings more than 32 years of business, investing, and operating experience to the firm. Throughout his career, Mr. Castillo has worked with lower middle market companies representing more than $2 billion in transaction value, serving as a private equity investor, operator, and financial advisor.

 

Prior to founding Invision Capital, Mr. Castillo was a partner at Valor Equity Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm. He previously held positions with American Capital Strategies and FINOVA Capital, where he served on the Corporate Finance Group’s investment committee and was directly responsible for equity investments across direct, co-investment, and fund investment transactions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Castillo held various underwriting roles at FINOVA Capital and Heller Financial. Mr. Castillo began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick, where he performed valuation and attestation services for financial services clients, including venture capital and private equity funds.​

 

Mr. Castillo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University. Mr. Castillo is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst ® charterholder.
