Our Team

Robert Castillo is the founder and Managing Director of Invision Capital. Mr. Castillo brings over 25 years of business and investing experience to the Partnership. In addition to his private equity experience, Mr. Castillo has served in various operating capacities, as well as, acting as a financial advisor to lower middle market companies. Mr. Castillo has worked with middle market companies representing over $2 billion in transaction value.  Prior to founding Invision Capital, Mr. Castillo was a partner at Valor Equity Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm. Mr. Castillo has also held positions with American Capital Strategies and FINOVA Capital. At FINOVA Capital, Mr. Castillo was a member of the Corporate Finance Group’s investment committee and directly responsible for equity investments in direct, co-investment and fund investment transactions. Mr. Castillo has held various underwriting positions within FINOVA Capital and Heller Financial. Mr. Castillo began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick performing valuations and attestations of financial service clients including venture capital and buyout funds.

Mr. Castillo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University. Mr. Castillo is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
